Clinical Health Psychologist
Dr. Jen Unwin is a clinical psychologist specializing in food addiction who has been helping people with processed food and sugar addiction for decades to change their ways to improve their lives. She is the author of several books, most recently Fork In the Road: A Hopeful Guide to Food Freedom. Jen Unwin has decades of experience helping people change their ways to improve their lives. More recently, she has focused her attention on helping people succeed in instituting low-carb lifestyles. Knowing what to eat is one thing. Implementing it and sticking with it is an entirely different issue that involves our psyche and emotions as much as our glucose and insulin. Jen helps us see the challenges and potential solutions most of us face as we embark on our quest for healthy life changes.
She works with the NHS helping patients manage chronic illness and achieve wellbeing. She also works with her GP husband Dr. David Unwin helping patients stick to lifestyle changes.
Dr. Unwin is a fellow of the British Psychological Society and a former chair of the UK Association for Solution Focused Practice.
